MENA Business Partnership Manager - Payment

Responsibilities:
- Identify, establish, and expand strategic partnerships with payment service providers, acquirers, and high-volume merchants in key sectors to drive rapid growth in the merchant base and transaction volume.
- Manage the entire enterprise sales cycle from prospecting and initial outreach to final negotiations, contract agreements, KYB compliance coordination, and seamless integration to expedite go-live timelines.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers in payment service providers, acquirers, and major merchants, leveraging regulatory positioning and market reputation to forge partnerships in traditional payment infrastructures.
- Develop and implement regional growth strategies focusing on crucial sectors like gaming, iGaming, e-commerce, trading platforms, OTA, and digital services, while also identifying opportunities in underserved markets.
- Collaborate extensively with Product, Integration, Legal, Compliance, and Marketing teams to tailor solutions to regional needs, streamline onboarding procedures, and execute joint initiatives to boost merchant adoption and Gross Merchandise Value growth.
- Analyze merchant performance and partnership data to segment accounts, optimize terms, enhance profitability, and leverage long-term benefits of the ecosystem.
- Stay informed on the competitive landscape, regulatory changes, and market trends to refine regional strategies and drive global payment distribution expansion.
- Track and meet aggressive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as merchant base growth, acquirer onboarding goals, and measurable expansion in transaction volume.
Requirements:
- Possess 6-10 years of experience in payments, fintech, acquiring, or prominent digital wallet ecosystems with robust knowledge of card networks, transaction flows, risk management, and payment structures.
- Showcase expertise in enterprise-level business development, including engaging and negotiating with C-suite executives, and managing complex partnerships across multiple stakeholders.
- Maintain a strong network within payment service providers, acquirers, payment processors, or financial institutions within the target region.
- Demonstrate an ability to operate in regulated environments, navigating compliance issues, and taking into account reputational considerations during partnership structures.
- Display commercial maturity, resilience, and a proactive approach in accelerating growth in high-potential environments, rather than relying solely on established infrastructure.
- Possess strong analytical skills to interpret merchant performance metrics and translate insights into scalable partnership strategies.
- Fluency in English and regional languages is necessary to collaborate effectively with overseas partners; fluency in additional languages is advantageous.
