Assisting in pre- and post-closing tasks, including checklists, document execution, post-closing record processing, and closing binders.
Drafting, revising, and overseeing legal documentation like contracts, corporate resolutions, and entity formation filings.
Developing and customizing legal forms and templates, recognizing when alterations to standard forms are necessary and carrying out changes independently.
Conducting research beyond conventional legal databases to identify zoning designations, deed restrictions, utility easements, ordinances, and governmental records.
Monitoring and summarizing legislative and regulatory changes that impact the company’s real estate operations.
Providing support in real estate litigation, mediation, arbitration, licensing renewals, and regulatory compliance matters.
Maintaining records related to the real estate portfolio.

Required Qualifications
Associate or bachelor’s degree, paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program, or an equivalent legal background.
At least 5 years of paralegal experience, predominantly focused on commercial real estate.
Hands-on experience with reviewing title commitments, title insurance policies, ALTA surveys, and due diligence materials.
Proficiency in commercial real estate transactions such as acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing.
Strong capability to identify and interpret zoning ordinances, easements, governmental records, and public land use documents.
Proven ability in drafting, editing, and customizing legal documents and forms independently.
Excellent research skills encompassing legal and practical aspects, with the capacity to find information from diverse sources.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems.

Prior experience in real estate within an energy, infrastructure, or development company.
