We are currently in search of meticulous and analytical Offchain Transaction Monitoring Analysts to join our expanding team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in upholding the security and integrity of transactions taking place on our platform. Your responsibilities will include monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on transaction patterns, as well as implementing measures to detect and prevent potential fraudulent activities and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate customer activities to identify instances of money laundering and other associated risks.
• Evaluate customer profiles and behavior to determine the need for further scrutiny.
• Conduct thorough investigations into abnormal offchain transactions.
• Craft concise and comprehensive reports outlining unusual activities and mitigating associated risks.

Requirements:

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in finance, computer science, law, or criminology from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in AML/CTF transaction monitoring, preferably within a fintech or cryptocurrency establishment.
• Relevant experience in AML/fraud investigations, particularly in a fintech setting.
• Basic familiarity with blockchain monitoring and analytics tools like Chainalysis, Elliptic, TRM, etc.
• Fundamental understanding of blockchain transactions and the associated risks.
• Stay updated on regulatory requirements and evolving dynamics within the Web3 industry, including the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA).
• Proficient in conducting risk assessments, periodic reviews, enhanced due diligence, and problem-solving with a focus on compliance.
• Target and output-driven individual with keen attention to detail.
• Capable of navigating through ambiguity in a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere.
• A proactive self-starter who demonstrates initiative, dedication, and creativity in achieving goals.
• Solid communication skills, both verbal and written, with a commitment to delivering valuable services to business stakeholders.
• Ability to ask pertinent questions and exercise sound business judgment when collaborating with a diverse set of stakeholders.
• Strong command of English (spoken and written), additional language skills are an advantage.
