Responsibilities
Joining us means being part of a dynamic scale-up technology firm with a global presence. Your role will involve handling various legal matters across different jurisdictions. As a key member of our small team, you will collaborate closely with senior leaders within the organization.
Specifically, you will:
- Review, negotiate, and provide counsel on a variety of contracts, such as NDA’s, client and supplier agreements, and other legal documentation both internally and externally.
- Manage the company's Contract Repository Platform, organizing and categorizing legal documents effectively.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain contract playbooks and streamline processes.
- Assist internal teams on Compliance and Data Privacy issues.
- Engage with senior legal team members in managing external legal counsel relationships on legal matters.
- Ensure agreements align with internal policies, company strategy, and the landscape of technology and contract law.
- Keep abreast of legal developments, becoming a trusted legal advisor within the organization.
- Independently manage files and aspects of work in compliance with the company's quality control protocols.
Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per year, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package including hybrid working, annual bonus plan, 25 days of annual leave, Aviva healthcare, equity options, as well as training and well-being allowances.
Requirements
Ideally, you will possess at least 1 year of in-house commercial experience within a technology firm or private practice. Alternatively, a minimum of 6 months of experience gained during a training contract or up to a year of post-qualification experience will be considered. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills are essential, allowing you to effectively convey legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders. You should be proactive in problem-solving and demonstrate the willingness to assume additional responsibilities as needed.
