Paralegal - Immigration Specialist
About Toku
Over the past few years, the cryptocurrency industry has experienced significant growth and along with it, the inevitable introduction of regulations. At Toku, we believe that regulation is a positive development as it allows the industry to safely expand its reach to a global audience.
We aim to be at the forefront of facilitating the transition from a pre-regulation to a post-regulation era in the cryptocurrency industry. Toku offers products that enable crypto-native companies to legally and compliantly compensate their teams with both fiat currencies and tokens in more than 100 countries worldwide. We are proud to have a growing list of esteemed customers, including Aragon, Astar, dYdX, Filecoin Foundation, Gitcoin, Gnosis, Hedera Hashgraph, Mina, Protocol Labs, Teller, Safe, Storyverse, and others.
Paying workers with tokens is a logical first use case for any token, regardless of its specific function. Toku ensures that all tokens used for worker compensation are legally compliant and that proper taxes are paid. This is a crucial part of transitioning to a post-regulation crypto industry.
Toku has successfully raised $20 million in funding from various reputable sources, including Blockchain Capital, Protocol Labs, GMJP, OrangeDAO, Orrick, Reverie, Quantstamp, Next Web Capital, and notable angel investors like Protocol Labs founder, Juan Benet, as well as Alchemy co-founders, Nikil Viswanathan and Joe Lau.
