Our client is a global full-service credit rating agency, offering credit ratings, investor research, and market data in US and European markets, prioritizing trust and transparency.
Key responsibilities
Facilitate organizational impact by fostering strong relationships with engineering teams company-wide to ensure changes are thoroughly assessed for their impact on multiple products and users.
Advocate for a supportive, patient approach when working with engineering teams transforming their operational practices or tooling, offering troubleshooting assistance when needed.
Develop and manage internal platform capabilities to reduce operational workload on product engineering teams, allowing them to concentrate on delivering business value rather than managing infrastructure.
Integrate security into platform foundations, including IAM, secrets management, network controls, and compliance guardrails.
Take complete ownership of tasks from design through production.
Provide and receive candid, constructive feedback openly.
Demonstrate a proactive approach by identifying and resolving blockers independently to maintain progress.
Prioritize iterative delivery by implementing smaller, incremental enhancements rather than large, high-risk releases.
Collaborate enthusiastically with team members and cross-functional stakeholders.
Be comfortable with ambiguity and be able to establish processes from scratch.
Requirements
Minimum of 4 years of experience in Platform Engineering or DevOps.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in Software Engineering.
Proficient in AWS, including Organizations, account management, and IAM.
Extensive hands-on experience with Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) and Docker-based containerization.
Strong understanding of cloud networking.
Demonstrated experience in Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform.
Proficiency with AI tools like Claude Code and Copilot for increased productivity.
Experience in building and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
Proficient in Python programming.
Desired qualifications
Familiarity with Datadog for monitoring and observability.
Exposure to Azure platform.
Knowledge of Artifactory for artifact management.
