Responsibilities:

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in financial crime compliance, encompassing risks, controls, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Facilitate committee meetings by managing agendas, notes, submissions, and action plans.
• Collaborate closely with the Chief Compliance Officer to develop internal reporting and presentation materials related to financial crime compliance, tailored for various levels of senior management.
• Aid in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures.
• Engage in special projects allocated by the CCO office.
• Evaluate processes and controls rigorously to identify compliance risks associated with Binance's operations, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations, and providing guidance as necessary.
• Analyze the financial crime compliance risk profile, evaluating its impact on internal projects, policies, procedures, processes, and systems.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of progressive experience in compliance or financial crime compliance.
• Familiarity with the digital currency sector.
• Preferably possess legal accreditation or relevant legal background.
• ACAMS or ACFCS certification is advantageous.
• Proficient in drafting and experience with financial crime legislation in a compliance context.
• Demonstrated record of meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality outcomes.
• Experience within traditional financial institutions regarding banking operations, processes, procedures, and controls.
• Energetic, multitasking individual with strong analytic capabilities and the ability to simplify complex subject matter.
• Fluent in English with additional languages being a plus.
• Strong communicator with prior stakeholder management experience.
• Remote position suited for a self-motivated individual with a proactive approach and the ability to work independently.
