Job Summary

As a Product Manager at OKX, you will drive market discovery, identify revenue opportunities, and develop new products to meet evolving market demands. You will act as an internal advocate, driving consensus and influencing senior management on new product initiatives. Your responsibilities will encompass market research, product design, implementation, and release processes to foster product innovation and growth.

You will be primarily tasked with defining and scaling OKX's payment systems to facilitate global fund transfers and access to a diverse range of crypto assets. This role involves managing product roadmaps, user experience features, and integration with local and international payment providers, while mitigating associated risks. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as design, engineering, legal, risk, compliance, marketing, customer support, and finance will be essential to align strategies, roadmaps, and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead product ownership for payment products, overseeing all aspects of the product lifecycle.
  • Develop and drive product roadmaps, backlogs, and iterations to achieve set goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate features and technical requirements and ensure successful product delivery.
  • Align with customer support teams and key stakeholders for feature releases and user communication.
  • Monitor and analyze product metrics, track performance data, and drive continuous product enhancements.
  • Promote product adoption and utilization through strategic collaborations with marketing and risk management teams, focusing on optimizing user experiences.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of product management experience in the tech industry.
  • Visionary approach to identifying and addressing current and future needs of the crypto market.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and executing payment fraud risk management systems for a minimum of 3-4 years.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with experience thriving in a fast-paced environment, making informed decisions under uncertainty, and advocating for resources.
  • Strong communication skills to translate strategy into actionable plans for product development, engineering, and marketing teams.
  • Comfortable with tech intricacies, with the ability to engage in technical discussions beyond product and user experience requirements.
  • Data-driven with a proficiency in defining and monitoring KPIs, along with working closely with engineering and analytics teams.
  • Familiarity with cryptocurrency exchanges and a strong passion for the crypto and blockchain space.

Preferred Requirements

  • Previous experience working with payments systems or crypto platforms.
  • Fluent in English; Mandarin language skills are a plus.
