About the role:
The Product Design Senior Manager will be a key member of our fast-paced and innovative product team, reporting to the Head of Design. This position can be based in either Hong Kong or Singapore.
As a design leader, you will play a crucial role in shaping the overall design strategy, providing strong leadership to our design team. You will be responsible for establishing design standards and principles, guiding the creation of exceptional end-to-end experiences that align with our business objectives. Collaboration and creativity will be central as you work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Drive design strategy and create user experiences that meet product and market requirements in collaboration with the executive team
- Lead and execute on creative design solutions by defining customer journeys and solving complex challenges
- Effectively communicate design direction, decisions, and rationale to other teams, working closely with senior stakeholders to align with product strategy
- Mentor and guide junior team members in creating user journey maps, user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes based on business requirements and user-centric principles
- Oversee and contribute to the development of a shared design system that promotes consistency and efficiency
- Utilize user data to gain insights into user behavior and make informed design decisions
- Conduct user research activities, such as interviews and usability tests, to identify global market trends and enhance our product roadmap
Requirements:
- Ability to relocate to Hong Kong or Singapore
- 10+ years of experience designing digital products/services in a B2C environment
- Strong portfolio showcasing your work in digital product and service design
- Deep understanding of user-centered design and UX principles, with the ability to develop design roadmaps in collaboration with senior stakeholders
- Experience managing multiple projects and delivering quality products at scale
- Track record of developing and coaching a medium to large-sized design team
- Skilled leader with a creative vision and a clear understanding of business objectives
- A portfolio must be provided for consideration
