Product Designer (Exchange)
About the Role:
Crypto company is in need of a Product Designer to work alongside a close-knit team of designers on the Exchange platform for web and mobile. The role involves contributing significantly to the design, testing, and enhancement of a product focused on facilitating customer trading with advanced tools and information. The Exchange provides a more powerful and time-sensitive experience compared to the core app, presenting unique constraints and design obstacles.
Each product designer within the company collaborates directly with product managers, engineers, and also engages extensively in research. They collectively take ownership of a segment of an app vertical and work collaboratively to deliver solutions with their teams.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the resolution of complex design challenges from start to finish, leveraging customer insights and data analytics to generate innovative concepts that steer the development of new products and features.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, particularly engineers, to ensure a smooth progression from concept to iterative development and the final release of products.
- Take a leadership role alongside product managers in contributing to shaping and evolving the product roadmap. Strategic insights will influence the direction of product offerings.
- Foster collaboration among designers across the organization, heightening the overall design standard and continuously improving design processes, principles, and tools to remain at the forefront of industry innovation.
- Utilize extensive experience to mentor and guide other designers, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth within the design team.
Requirements:
- Possess a minimum of 4 years of experience in designing digital products/services within a B2C environment.
- Demonstrate a strong portfolio encompassing design examples for digital products and services.
- Display expert-level proficiency in creating intuitive and engaging consumer experiences for web and mobile platforms. Show a track record of delivering user-centric designs enhancing overall user experience.
- Exhibit exceptional UX thinking, identifying gaps and redundancies in the user journey, and demonstrate mastery of visual design principles to ensure designs surpass aesthetic and functional expectations.
- Demonstrate an expert level of collaboration by integrating seamlessly into cross-functional teams and effectively partnering with engineers, user researchers, and product teams to materialize design concepts.
- Show proficiency in design tools, particularly in Figma and prototyping tools, effectively translating ideas into interactive prototypes to streamline the design iteration process.
- Showcase dedication to fostering a collaborative and open-minded culture, displaying a commitment to team success and a drive towards inclusivity and continual improvement.
