Product Designer (Exchange)
About the Role:
A Product Designer is needed at the organization to collaborate with a close-knit team of designers on the Exchange platform for web and mobile. This role involves designing, testing, and enhancing a product that allows customers to trade with advanced tools and information. The Exchange platform presents unique constraints and design challenges different from the core app.
Product designers work closely with product managers and engineers and also collaborate with research teams. They collectively manage a segment of an app vertical and work together to implement solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Lead in solving complex design challenges from start to finish. Translate consumer insights and data analysis into innovative concepts for new product development.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, particularly engineers, to ensure a smooth transition from concept to product release.
- Partner with product managers to contribute to defining and refining the product roadmap, guiding the direction of the offerings.
- Promote collaboration among designers organization-wide to enhance design standards continuously. Improve design processes, principles, and tools to stay ahead in industry innovation.
- Utilize extensive experience to mentor and guide other designers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented design team.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in designing digital B2C products/services.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design examples for digital products/services and consumer-facing experiences on web and mobile platforms.
- Expertise in creating intuitive and engaging consumer experiences, surpassing usability expectations.
- Proficient in identifying user journey gaps with a focus on superior UX design. Expertise in visual design principles and exceptional written communication skills to articulate design rationale and strategy clearly.
- Demonstrate collaboration skills and ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams. Show experience partnering with engineers, user researchers, and product teams to bring design concepts to life.
- Proficient in design tools, particularly fluent in Figma and prototyping tools, to streamline the design iteration process.
