Product Director, Banking Engagement

The Mission:
Your goal is to bridge the gap between trading and banking, catering to active traders and transforming them into primary banking users by positioning our platform as their central hub for cash liquidity management. Through the seamless integration of fiat and stablecoin balances, you will elevate the platform into a go-to "Primary Account" status within the financial ecosystem.
The Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Product Leader who excels at merging customer-centric strategies with data-driven growth initiatives. In this influential role, you will venture beyond conventional product management practices, fostering a culture of rapid experimentation and leveraging AI to expedite prototyping and enhance operational efficiencies. Your primary objective is to elevate the banking experience, transforming idle cash into an engaging daily banking encounter that users depend on.
Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Engagement Leadership: Craft and execute the strategy for the Banking segment, driving account evolution, liquidity utility, and enhancing everyday financial features to maximize ROI.
- Engagement-First Roadmap: Define and spearhead the key engagement KPIs for the banking domain, ensuring that each feature release boosts monthly active users and enhances the platform's everyday banking utility.
- Data-Driven Experimentation: Cultivate a culture of top-tier experimentation within your team, continuously testing hypotheses on onboarding, activation, and retention strategies to drive incremental growth.
- AI-Forward Execution: Promote the use of AI tools within your team to accelerate the build-measure-learn cycle, driving unprecedented process efficiency.
- Banking Onboarding & CX: Develop and oversee the banking onboarding process, ensuring a seamless and delightful journey that seamlessly transitions crypto-native users into active banking users.
- Portfolio Management: Lead the evolution of the accounts experience, from core wallet functionality to advanced savings and cashflow management features.
- Stakeholder Orchestration: Collaborate closely with Engineering, UX, and Legal/Compliance teams to elevate our collaborative approach, enabling the continuous delivery of high-quality products within the fast-paced fintech landscape.
- Team Coaching: Mentor and lead a team of 2-3 PMs, instilling a customer-centric and data-driven mindset throughout the organization.
Requirements:
- Engagement & Activation Expert: 7–10+ years of product leadership experience in high-growth consumer fintechs, neo-banks, or digital marketplaces, renowned for driving user activation and engagement.
- Experimentation Native: Proven experience in high-frequency A/B testing and adept at managing products through a data-driven lens to extract valuable insights.
- Customer Centricity: Strong product design acumen with a track record of identifying and addressing customer pain points through intuitive UX solutions.
- Strategic & Structured: Exceptional analytical and communication skills with the ability to translate long-term vision into actionable milestones.
- AI Utility Power-User: Proficiency in leveraging AI tools to streamline workflows and drive innovation, expecting the team to do the same.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial ecosystem operations and the significance of deposit retention and cross-selling strategies.
- * Banking Industry Knowledge (Bonus): In-depth knowledge of neo-banking and payment landscapes in the US and Europe encompassing infrastructure, user expectations, and regulatory frameworks.
