Product Director, Banking Engagement

Our team responsible for Product Management endeavors to drive product initiatives throughout their lifecycle, impacting and launching products/features globally. We collaborate closely across disciplines with engineers, designers, analysts, marketers, and other team members to deliver outstanding features and products.

Mission

Your goal is to bridge the gap between the worlds of "Trading" and "Banking," providing real-world utility to transition active traders into primary banking users. This involves establishing the platform as their central cash liquidity engine by seamlessly integrating fiat and stablecoin balances into a neobank experience, working towards achieving ecosystem-wide "Primary Account" status.

Role

In this pivotal leadership position, we seek out a Product expert who excels at integrating customer-focused approaches with data-driven growth strategies. You will lead the charge in fostering a culture of rapid experimentation, utilizing AI to expedite prototyping and operational efficiencies. The core objective is to transform "idle cash" into a highly engaging banking experience that users actively depend on in their daily routines.

Responsibilities

• Strategy & Engagement Leadership: Develop and execute the strategy for the Banking segment, guiding the roadmap for accounts, liquidity utility, and everyday financial features to optimize ROI.
• Engagement-First Roadmap: Define and uphold the key engagement KPIs for the banking vertical, ensuring that every feature release boosts monthly active users and daily banking utility.
• Data-Driven Experimentation: Cultivate a top-tier experimentation culture within your team, continuously testing hypotheses related to onboarding, activation, and retention to drive incremental growth.
• AI-Forward Execution: Encourage the use of AI tools within the Product Management and design teams to accelerate the build-measure-learn loop and enhance process efficiency.
• Banking Onboarding & CX: Lead the end-to-end strategy for banking onboarding, guaranteeing a seamless, enjoyable journey that converts crypto-native users into active banking users.
• Portfolio Management: Oversee the evolution of the accounts experience, progressing from core wallet utilities to advanced savings and cashflow orchestration features.
• Stakeholder Orchestration: Collaborate with Engineering, UX, and Legal/Compliance teams to improve our working model and ensure timely delivery of high-quality banking products.
• Team Coaching: Mentor a team of 2-3 PMs, instilling a customer-centric, data-driven mindset across the organization.

Requirements

• Engagement & Activation Expertise: 7–10+ years of experience in product leadership within high-growth consumer fintech firms, neo-banks, or digital marketplaces where you are recognized for driving user engagement.
• Experimentation Mindset: Proficient in high-frequency A/B testing and steering products through a data-driven lens to extract valuable insights.
• Customer-Centric Approach: Skilled in product design with a proven track record of identifying and resolving customer pain points through intuitive UX.
• Strategic & Structured Thinking: Possess strong structured thinking and communication skills, capable of breaking down a long-term vision into actionable milestones.
• AI Proficiency: Efficiently utilize AI tools in daily operations and inspire your team to follow suit, operating with a vision for improved prototyping efficiency.
• Commercial Acumen: Understanding the significance of deposit retention and cross-selling in a financial ecosystem, emphasizing the business objectives behind the data.
• (Bonus) Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the neo-banking and payments landscape in the US and Europe, including relevant rails, user expectations, and regulatory frameworks.
