Product Director - Payment & Banking
Our Product Management team leads the development of product initiatives from concept to launch, introducing new products and features globally. We collaborate closely with various team members such as engineers, designers, analysts, marketers, and other cross-functional teams to deliver innovative features and products.
About the Role: The Cash team manages money movement and transfers, working with financial institutions to facilitate seamless money transfers for our users on the platform. We seek an experienced Product Director with a strategic vision and hands-on approach to drive the development, implementation, and management of a transformative platform that revolutionizes how users engage with financial transactions. In-depth knowledge of US banking regulations is highly beneficial for this particular role focused on US partnerships.
Job Responsibilities:
- Liquidity and Settlement: Proficient in Treasury Product with expertise in forming banking partnerships to ensure uninterrupted liquidity for large-scale user pay-outs and trading activities.
- High-Acceptance Rate Focus: Demonstrated ability to enhance transaction acceptance rates by optimizing processor relationships, fraud rules, and compliance checks across various payment methods.
- Strategic Bank Partnership: Leading negotiations and integrations for direct bank relationships to secure favorable rates and tailored solutions.
- Payment Orchestration & Routing: Designing a dynamic routing engine to identify optimal payment routes based on user criteria.
- Institutional On-Ramp: Creating scalable fiat payment solutions for institutional clients including specialized banking services like wire processing.
- Key Success Metrics: Improving time-to-fund/withdrawal, enhancing pay-in acceptance rates, and optimizing cost-per-transaction.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of product leadership in cross-border payment infrastructure.
- Candidates with less experience may be considered for other roles.
- Experience in selecting payment rails based on transaction speed and technical API understanding is preferred.
- Data-informed decision-making and a customer-centric approach.
- Strong work ethic to meet tight timelines and goals.
- Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and communicate prioritization decisions effectively.
