Product Director - Payment & Banking
Our team of Product Management is responsible for driving product initiatives throughout the entire product lifecycle, ensuring the successful launch of products and features globally. We collaborate closely with various teams including engineers, designers, analysts, marketers, and other cross-functional members to deliver exceptional products.
About the role: The Cash team is focused on facilitating money movement and transfers by working with banks, fintechs, and wallets to enhance the seamless movement of money for our users on our platform.
We are seeking a highly experienced Product Director who can bring vision and drive to lead the creation, implementation, and management of a groundbreaking platform that revolutionizes the user experience with managing money. This role specifically entails focusing on US partnerships, necessitating a deep understanding of US banking regulations and practices.
Job Responsibilities:
- Liquidity and Settlement: Demonstrating expert knowledge of Treasury Product to establish banking partnerships that ensure optimal liquidity with minimal downtime for mass user payouts and trading activities.
- High-Acceptance Rate Focus: Increasing transaction acceptance rates across different payment methods by optimizing relationships with processors, fraud rules, and compliance checks.
- Strategic Bank Partnership: Leading negotiations and integrations for direct bank relationships to secure competitive rates, service levels, and tailored solutions.
- Payment Orchestration & Routing: Designing dynamic routing logic to choose the most suitable payment rail based on user segments, jurisdiction, currency, speed needs, and risk profiles.
- Institutional On-Ramp: Developing scalable fiat payment solutions for institutional clients like segregated bank accounts, wire processing, and APIs for bulk payouts.
- Key Success Metrics: Improving Time-to-Fund/Time-to-Withdrawal, enhancing pay-in acceptance rates, and optimizing cost-per-transaction metrics.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 10+ years of product leadership experience in cross-border payment infrastructure.
- Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Principal/Lead roles.
- Proven track record of selecting and integrating payment rails based on transaction speed requirements.
- Ability to understand technical APIs and translate their impact on user experiences.
- Data-informed work approach with a user-centric mindset.
- Passion for creating exceptional customer-facing products and experiences.
- Strong work ethic to meet tight timelines and goals when needed.
- Skill in managing C-level stakeholders and communicating prioritization decisions clearly.
