About The Role:
We are in search of an experienced Product Manager to head the Aptos Ascend products. This role involves close collaboration with financial services partners in various sectors like payments, capital markets, and banking in both decentralized and traditional finance industries. The Product Manager is tasked with devising product strategies, securing resources, and driving the implementation of solutions for key partners.
The position encompasses aspects of strategy formation, market research, entrepreneurship, and team coordination to achieve valuable outcomes. The role presents a chance for individuals keen on developing innovative products within a complex and impactful domain. The projects involve high-speed progression, rapid expansion, and potential substantial impacts on emerging blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive strategy for financial services within Aptos Ascend, focusing on ecosystem growth, marketing, partnerships, and internal and external product engineering solutions.
- Utilize market research and data analysis to steer the strategic direction of Aptos Ascend, accounting for short and long-term goals.
- Collaborate with various teams like partnerships, marketing, engineering, and product development to prioritize and drive the execution of initiatives that bring value to users and partners.
- Identify product solutions supporting Ascend projects on Aptos, and oversee their execution with the internal and external product and engineering teams.
- Engage with partners to ensure alignment in strategy for successful development within Aptos.
- Participate in pinpointing, planning, and executing new possibilities in financial services within Aptos.
- Secure leadership and stakeholder agreement on Ascend projects, providing regular updates on milestones, priorities, and achievements.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in product management within financial services, payments, capital markets, investing, or related industries.
- Proficiency in guiding product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design deliberations.
- Demonstrated experience in taking initiatives and products from ideation to launch, managing end-to-end delivery.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives spanning internal and external teams effectively.
- In-depth understanding of financial services customers, their needs, ongoing efforts, and requirements for blockchain solutions.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret research and data, discern industry trends, and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities with a proven track record of cross-team collaboration to influence priorities and drive project execution.
- Experience collaborating with global partners is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or related field; an advanced degree like a Master’s or MBA is desirable.
