Responsibilities:

Circle is seeking a skilled Manager to join our EMEA team, focusing on product reconciliation for stable coins in compliance with electronic money regulations in the region. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in product reconciliation within regulated environments and possess knowledge of blockchain technology and stable coins.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile and review blockchain data and bank transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness of ledger entries.
  • Efficiently handle high-volume data using reconciliation tools and structured methods to maintain data integrity.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve reconciliation discrepancies promptly.
  • Generate daily reports for operational insights and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead monthly attestation processes and collaborate with auditors as required.
  • Assist in finance transformation projects to automate processes and integrate with ERP systems.
  • Complete regulatory returns in line with electronic money regulations.
  • Ensure financial reporting accuracy by applying International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Adhere to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and implement necessary internal controls.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Preferred certification such as ACA/ACCA.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in product reconciliation or financial analysis in a regulated setting.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities to detect discrepancies.
  • Proficient in analyzing blockchain transactions and stable coins.
  • Capability to establish procedures and enhance processes.
  • Experience with reconciliation software and analytics tools.
  • Ability to excel in high-pressure environments, meet deadlines, and manage tasks effectively.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain high levels of integrity and handle sensitive information confidentially.
