Project Manager
The Arbitrum Foundation is an organisation based in the Cayman Islands that focuses on the development and support of the Arbitrum ecosystem. This ecosystem includes Arbitrum One, an Optimistic Rollup solution that enhances scalability for applications, reducing costs and increasing capacity while maintaining Ethereum's security standards. It also includes Arbitrum Nova, which offers the potential for low-cost fees by utilizing AnyTrust technology, particularly suitable for Social and Gaming applications.
Arbitrum currently stands out as the leading Ethereum scaling solution, holding a significant market share with a wide array of applications on the platform and accounting for over 50% of all rollup liquidity.
We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned Project Manager to become part of the Arbitrum Foundation team. In this role, your primary responsibility will involve supervising the planning, execution, and successful completion of key projects aligning with the Foundation's strategic objectives. You will collaborate with various teams, manage project timelines, and ensure the delivered outcomes meet rigorous quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans outlining the objectives, scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation. Ensure projects are carried out within the defined scope, schedule, and resources.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the main point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders. Regularly communicate project progress, milestones, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
- Team Collaboration: Engage closely with cross-functional teams, such as developers, product managers, marketing, and business development, to ensure project success. Foster collaboration and ensure alignment across all project teams.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and create mitigation strategies. Proactively deal with and resolve issues that could impede project delivery.
- Quality Assurance: Establish quality control measures to guarantee project deliverables adhere to the required standards and specifications. Conduct periodic project reviews and offer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain thorough project documentation, which includes project plans, status reports, and post-project assessments. Ensure the accuracy and currency of all project records.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience, preferably within blockchain or technology sectors.
- Proven track record of effectively managing complex projects from inception to completion.
- Fundamental understanding of blockchain technology and the Ethereum ecosystem.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate efficiently with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Robust problem-solving capabilities and the capacity to make well-informed decisions under pressure.
- Possession of PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plus.
