The Arbitrum Foundation, located in the Cayman Islands, focuses on advancing and supporting the development of the Arbitrum ecosystem. This ecosystem includes Arbitrum One, an Optimistic Rollup technology that scales applications instantly, reducing costs and boosting capacity while maintaining Ethereum's security. Additionally, there is Arbitrum Nova, which enables low-cost fees through AnyTrust technology, making it suitable for Social and Gaming applications.

Arbitrum is currently the top Ethereum scaling solution, holding a significant market share with numerous apps on its platform and over 50% of all rollup liquidity.

The Arbitrum Foundation is in search of a skilled Technical Lead to join their team. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing external engineering teams and managing internal technology requirements to ensure the smooth operation of the Arbitrum ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of engineering principles, particularly in blockchain technology, and will have a proven track record of delivering successful technological products at scale.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with technical providers to the Arbitrum Foundation, cultivating strong working relationships and ensuring alignment with project objectives.

Engage and supervise external engineering teams to deliver technology solutions that enhance the Arbitrum ecosystem, setting expectations, providing guidance, and ensuring timely milestone completion.

Manage internal technology needs for the Foundation, such as infrastructure management, tooling, and support for various technical initiatives.

Act as a subject matter expert on technical issues within the Foundation, offering insights, guidance, and solutions to complex problems.

Lead by example, showcasing a dedication to excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement in all technical endeavors.

Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for technical innovation and efficiency enhancements within the Arbitrum ecosystem.

Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to guide decision-making and drive continuous improvements.

Requirements:

Previous experience in engineering and blockchain technology.

Proficiency in computer science fundamentals, obtained through formal education or self-learning, with the ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations.

Strong leadership and communication skills, effectively engaging with all levels of an organization.

Excellent problem-solving skills, focusing on strategic approaches to identify and tackle technical challenges.

Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, displaying adaptability and resilience to change.
