Role Overview

They are in search of a driven Senior Business Development Manager with a focus on sales to fuel growth and establish strategic partnerships in South Korea. The ideal candidate should possess comprehensive knowledge of the local market dynamics and business culture, as well as hold a native proficiency in the Korean language. In this key role within the organization, the Senior Business Development Manager will lead efforts to expand Arbitrum's presence and strengthen relationships within the South Korean market.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement tailored business development strategies for the South Korean market to meet revenue goals and enhance market penetration.
- Identify and prioritize strategic partnerships, business opportunities, and growth channels, particularly within the enterprise sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and key industry stakeholders to drive business expansion.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting to deal closures, focusing on customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as marketing, product, and legal to ensure cohesive execution of business development initiatives.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes in South Korea to guide decision-making and market positioning.
- Represent Arbitrum Foundation at various industry events and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and industry presence.
Requirements
- Demonstrated success in business development, sales, or account management in the South Korean market.
- Extensive network within the South Korean enterprise sector and the ability to leverage connections for business opportunities.
- Strong knowledge of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and decentralized finance (DeFi) is advantageous.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage decision-makers at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with a focus on growth, innovation, and achieving results.
- Fluency in both English and Korean languages is essential for this role.
