Role Overview:
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our proactive Web3 development team dedicated to shaping the future of the internet. Your background in managing software projects through an agile Software Development Life Cycle Process will play a crucial role in our accomplishments. If you possess the skills and experience in overseeing software development projects coupled with outstanding communication abilities, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities Include:
- Leading software projects of various scales in collaboration with a Technical Owner and cross-functional leaders.
- Driving ongoing Project Management enhancements along with contributing to LayerZero's PM methodology and engineering approach.
- Working closely with the engineering team to facilitate product improvements at LayerZero to enhance user experience.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of recent experience managing software development projects.
- Strong project management skills, including a track record of successful software project deliveries.
- Proficiency in PM methodologies such as Agile and SDLC, including Project Initiation, Planning, Control & Monitoring, and Closure.
- Proven skills in proactive Risk Management, Reporting, and Change Management.
- Excellent communication skills with a good grasp of soft skills and the ability to build relationships and gain trust at all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in Jira software or similar tools.
- Familiarity with Web3 is a desirable qualification.
- Possession of a Program Management certification (e.g., PMI, Prince, etc.).
- A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or Program Management.
