Project Manager Hardware Engineering (f/m)

Established in 2014, Ledger is a global digital assets and Web3 platform. More than 20% of the world's crypto assets are safeguarded using our Ledger Nanos. With headquarters in Paris and Vierzon, and offices in various countries including the UK, US, Switzerland, and Singapore, Ledger boasts a workforce of over 700 professionals who are committed to creating a range of products and services that enable individuals and enterprises to securely engage with, manage, and grow crypto assets. This includes our Ledger hardware wallets line, which has over 6 million units sold across 200 countries.
Ledger's Hardware Engineering team is in search of a talented Project Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the team and working closely with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and meet deadlines
- Collaborate daily with Mechanical Engineering, Firmware, and Electronics teams
- Manage suppliers and partners to ensure timely delivery of milestones
- Provide concise progress reports and communicate any challenges effectively
- Present technical decisions and trade-offs clearly to the leadership team
- Anticipate and address blockers effectively
- Establish a strong internal network and become the primary contact for our product
- Oversee the industrialization process closely with OEM partners
- Drive prototype iterations and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) costs in collaboration with engineering and supply chain teams
- Maintain close collaboration with the Operations team at all times
- Define and enhance internal development cycles and best practices
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the consumer electronics industry
- Proven track record of successfully delivering devices to market
- Project management, electronics, or mechanical engineering experience
- Highly organized with strong communication skills
- Innovative and proactive mindset
- Positive attitude and willingness to get involved in various tasks
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort with ambiguity and embracing change
- Interest in the crypto/blockchain industry is a plus
- Proficient in spoken and written English
