Description
Our client operates in the over-the-top video streaming industry and is in search of a Technical Manager to oversee the development of their corporate website and other web projects. They are looking for a proactive individual to serve as a project manager for mobile, web, and front-end development, ensuring efficient system development while maintaining effective communication with business stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the development team in the Front-end Development domains for both Mobile and Web, ensuring on-time delivery and upholding the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and QA teams to ensure seamless alignment and execution.
- Implement agile methodologies to iterate quickly, respond to user feedback, and consistently enhance both mobile and web platforms.
- Advocate for stream-aligned teams' principles, optimizing workflows for maximum efficiency and minimal handoffs.
- Engage with stakeholders across all levels, ensure clear communication, and set proper expectations.
- Monitor project progress, foresee potential obstacles, and develop strategies to manage risks effectively.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years focusing on web, mobile, and/or front-end development.
- Sound knowledge of agile methodologies and the ability to instill an agile mindset within the team, especially during challenging situations.
- Understanding of streams, stream-aligned teams, and the Team Topologies model.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proven track record in managing projects with multiple dependencies.
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in utilizing Jira for project tracking and management.
