In this position, you will:
- Collaborate closely with the protocol development and test teams to grasp requirements and develop appropriate test plans and strategies.
- Create and execute test cases, test scripts, and scenarios to verify network functionality, performance, and security.
- Perform various testing types, including functional, regression, performance, integration, and system testing.
- Detect, analyze, and report software defects and issues clearly using bug tracking tools.
- Work in tandem with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve identified issues, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Continuously enhance test processes and methodologies by suggesting and implementing new approaches to boost efficiency.
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in roles involving Development Engineer or Test Engineer responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Experience in creating clear and concise test plans, test cases, and scenarios.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems, such as Ubuntu, and proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, JavaScript).
- Understanding of version control systems like Git, and familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills, keen attention to detail, and excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
