Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members, including developers, product managers, customer support, and partners, to develop, test, and deliver high-quality products.
• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Identify, analyze, and track product defects.
• Create and execute automation scripts.
• Conduct hands-on investigation and reproduction of functional backend software issues.
• Perform root cause analysis of existing test script failures.
• Identify deficiencies in current test scripts and areas for additional scripted coverage.
• Test unreleased features, defining requirements, behavior, and impact.
• Design and document test scenarios.

Requirements

• Over 2 years of backend QA engineering experience, including frontend and backend automated testing.
• Knowledge in payment/funding-related domain is advantageous.
• Proficiency in designing manual tests, developing scripts, and execution.
• Skills in scripting with Java or Python.
• Experience in testing backend services like APIs and Databases.
• Proficiency in functional and integration testing for web and mobile applications.
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing test automation frameworks for frontend and backend components.
• Ability to conduct root cause analysis to address software quality issues effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a user-focused mindset and clear communication abilities within the team.
