QA Engineer (Crypto.com APP- Card)

We are seeking a team member to collaborate on the design, development, maintenance, and enhancement of software for diverse venture projects. These projects are complementary to our primary activities and are rapidly bootstrapped with a lean team. Your role will entail active participation in designing various components for scalable applications, spanning from frontend UI to backend infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans and manual test cases, with a strong focus on leveraging code to solve technical challenges and streamline the test cycle through manual testing.
• Estimate testing efforts, analyze and communicate test results, and engage in day-to-day QA activities.
• Enhance, maintain, and innovate the test frameworks, tools, and technologies utilized within the organization.
• Collaborate with Development, Testing, and Product Management teams to devise and implement effective test and validation strategies.
• Manage and execute test cases, report on test and defect metrics, and troubleshoot manual test scenarios across systems.
• Contribute to the creation of robust, scalable, and high-quality manual testing solutions for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Identify necessary improvements in testing and development processes.
• Uphold a high-quality standard in a dynamic and ever-evolving work environment.

Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 3-8 years of QA experience in testing, with at least 2 years of experience in mobile app testing.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands-on experience in developing test strategies, plans, and cases, with a focus on manual testing.
• Proficiency in SQL and scripting.
• Knowledge in trading crypto or involvement in the crypto/defi sphere is a desirable asset.
• Hold a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, while knowledge of Chinese is advantageous.
• Previous experience in an agile work environment is preferred.
