Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with a diverse team of developers, product managers, customer support professionals, and partners to develop, test, and deliver high-quality products.
• Develop detailed, well-structured test plans and test cases for product evaluation.
• Identify, collect, analyze, and track product defects to ensure optimal product performance.
• Create and execute automation scripts to streamline testing processes.
• Conduct manual investigation and replication of functional backend software issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis of test script failures and recommend appropriate actions.
• Evaluate current test script deficiencies and propose additional scripted coverage as needed.
• Conduct investigatory testing of upcoming features, defining requirements and impact areas.
• Document test scenarios and designs for proposed evaluations.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in backend QA engineering, with expertise in frontend and backend automated testing.
• Prior experience in payment or funding-related domains will be advantageous.
• Proven track record of full-cycle testing, including manual test design, script development, and execution.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java or Python.
• Experience testing backend services like APIs and databases.
• Strong background in functional and integration testing for web and mobile applications.
• Hands-on experience with test automation framework design for both frontend and backend components.
• Ability to conduct root cause analysis to address underlying software quality issues effectively.
• Excellent analytical skills, troubleshooting capabilities, and a problem-solving mindset.
• Strong focus on user needs, logical thinking, and effective team communication skills.
