Responsibilities
- Develop and implement high-frequency trading algorithms for active deployment in real-time trading scenarios
- Investigate trading concepts by monitoring systems and analyzing market data, microstructure, and trading outcomes for patterns
- Conduct statistical analysis and research to optimize and enhance trading signals across various markets
- Enhance existing simulation and research pipelines for higher accuracy and faster time to market
- Collaborate closely with fellow researchers and software engineers to foster innovation within the organization
Qualifications
- Advanced education (Bachelor's, Master's, Ph.D.) from a reputable institution in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Financial Engineering, Economics, or other quantitative disciplines
- Background in data-focused research environments
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficient in Python with the ability to quickly adapt and learn C++
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep understanding of probability and statistics
- Proficiency in C++ within a Linux environment
