Regional Finance Lead (Fiat Vertical)

We are on the lookout for an adept Finance Controller Lead to bolster our finance team. This pivotal role involves overseeing financial controllership to ensure operational accuracy, integrity, and compliance. The ideal candidate will showcase exceptional leadership, extensive financial reporting expertise, adeptness in internal controls, and financial analysis acumen.

Responsibilities

• Daily financial oversight: Manage financial processes across multiple legal entities in the Fiat vertical, including monthly and yearly closings, bank and asset balance reconciliations, accounts payables and receivables, invoicing, financial statement preparation, compliance with regulatory and tax deadlines, and collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Accounting precision: Guarantee meticulous and timely accounting through defining methodologies, validating entries, reconciling balances, and enhancing systems and procedures.
• Internal controls management: Develop and document business processes, policies, and internal controls, ensuring adherence to group standards, accurate record-keeping, and audit preparation.
• Audit coordination: Lead external audits by collaborating closely with auditors, resolving identified issues, and implementing corrective measures.
• Annual planning & forecasting: Establish annual revenue and expenditure targets in alignment with management to maintain accuracy and inform decision-making.
• Strategic business support: Provide comprehensive analysis, financial modeling, strategic insights, and partnership to inform decisive business actions.
• Process optimization & efficiency: Drive improvements in accounting systems, reporting, and procedures to heighten efficiency and accuracy.
• Team leadership & development: Lead and nurture a cohesive team, offering financial training and guidance to boost capability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting (advanced degrees or certifications preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in finance managerial roles, preferably within Technology/FinTech or multinational corporations.
• Proficiency in accounting procedures, financial statements, general ledger functions, and financial planning systems.
• Strong English communication skills, with Mandarin proficiency being advantageous.
• Hands-on experience in enterprise financial systems preferred.
• Exemplary analytical skills, executive presence, initiative, and goal-oriented mindset.
• Ability to thrive in an unstructured, fast-paced environment, manage ambiguity, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and keen interest in crypto & blockchain technology.
