We are seeking a Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team and oversee MiFID compliance, asset safeguarding, and market abuse monitoring, playing a pivotal role in ensuring regulatory excellence within the European financial sector.
Key Responsibilities
- MiFID II Compliance: Lead efforts to ensure compliance with MiFID II regulations across all brokerage operations, offering valuable guidance to stay ahead of regulatory changes.
- Asset Safeguarding: Develop and implement processes to safeguard client assets, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations and bolstering client fund protection.
- Compliance Checks and Reporting: Prepare accurate compliance reports, maintain comprehensive records, conduct thorough compliance reviews, and ensure adherence to financial regulations.
- Market Abuse Alerts Handling: Monitor, investigate, and manage market abuse alerts swiftly, maintain detailed records, and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
- Complaints and Incidents Handling: Efficiently address and resolve client complaints and incidents, upholding high customer service standards and meeting regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
- Possess a Master's degree or equivalent qualification in law, business law, or business administration with a minimum of 3 years' experience in financial market law and regulations.
- Strong background in MiFID and Crypto regulation and/or MiCAR is beneficial.
- Solution-oriented with excellent collaboration skills, demonstrating precision and efficiency in all tasks.
- Effective communicator with exceptional analytical and organizational abilities, capable of making sound judgments promptly.
- Proficient in English with German proficiency considered a plus.
