Key Responsibilities

• Function as an expert in Revenue Accounting specifically geared towards Crypto products
• Collaborate closely with Finance Business Partners and Entity Controllers to ensure precise and timely recording of revenue transactions
• Guarantee accurate revenue recognition for transactions and contracts in alignment with company policies and revenue recognition accounting norms
• Conduct detailed analysis of revenue streams and trends to identify potential opportunities and risks
• Perform Month End Close Reporting and Reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and deliver presentations for senior management and external stakeholders
• Co-operate with the Corporate Accounting Policy Lead to establish revenue recognition policies accordance with IFRS
• Assist in local audits, statutory filings, and regulatory filings, ensuring accuracy and punctuality
• Propose process enhancements to augment the efficiency and accuracy of the month-end close reporting process
• Collaborate with Business Units and Finance Business Partners to assess the financial impact of new products and initiatives
• Lead the implementation and enhancement of financial systems and tools, emphasizing automation and scalability

Mandatory Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of diversified experience, mainly in FinTech/Financial Service industry, combined with Big 4 public accounting exposure, with a focus on Revenue Accounting or Controllership functions for at least 4 years
• Possess a Bachelor's degree and hold a Qualified Accountant title (CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent)
• Proficient in International accounting practices and knowledgeable in IFRS
• Skilled in business amalgamations, derivatives, hedging, NFT, pay services, and intricate blockchain products
• Establish demonstrated capability in designing and executing operational controls and processes in a closely regulated environment
• Strong analytical proficiency to interpret complex financial information and trends
• Proficiency in Netsuite or equivalent ERP system as well as data analysis tools and software like Excel, SQL, and Tableau
• Independent and comfortable in a high-growth organization where structures, protocols, and policies are evolving
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, continuous learning environment and demonstrate readiness to shoulder additional responsibilities when needed
• A passion for cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, staying updated on industry advancements and trends
