We seek to bring on board a Sales Trader to join the essential team at Wintermute Asia's trading division. The ideal candidate will have a robust OTC background coupled with a successful history in sales trading. As a Sales Trader, your responsibilities will be pivotal in fostering OTC business expansion by executing trades and cultivating relationships with trading counterparts within the Wintermute network.

Responsibilities
- Manage OTC trading throughout Asian trading hours, encompassing trade quotations and strengthening relationships with trading partners to augment trading volumes
- Collaborate with senior traders in pricing and quoting larger and more intricate trades
- Assess and manage trading risks employing appropriate risk management strategies
- Contribute to crafting and executing the OTC sales strategy in coordination with the business development team
- Utilize internal market insights and research to enhance value provided to counterparts, with the ability to generate personal market intelligence for added advantage
- Engage in industry conferences, events, and networking activities to expand the client base and stay abreast of market trends
Hard Skills Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or related discipline such as Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or Engineering
- Prior experience as a sales trader in a high-performing setting
- Preference for candidates with exposure to the crypto realm but open to other asset classes
- Proficiency in OTC spot trading
- Knowledge of derivatives products trading, ability to grasp derivative pricing (knowledge testing applicable)
- Experience in HFT/algorithmic trading industry is advantageous
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills (assessment to be conducted)
- Keen interest in blockchain, crypto, and DeFi sectors; staying updated with significant news and developments in the crypto sphere
