Sanctions & CTF Investigator

As part of our expanding Sanctions team, we are seeking accomplished Sanctions Investigators capable of leading investigations using cutting-edge TM and KYT tools.

Responsibilities

• Governance of Incident and Issue Investigations: Collaborate with compliance operations, product, and tech teams to determine the root causes of incidents and issues, drive accountability, and oversee action plans to resolution.
• Process Enhancement and Transformation: Address challenges proactively, work with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement, and develop innovative solutions while efficiently managing resources.
• Management of Process Oversight and Change Control: Supervise operational processes affecting Sanctions Compliance, ensuring alignment with regulations and policies. Propose and implement necessary updates and changes to global operational procedures.
• Testing and Tuning of Compliance Risk Rules, and System UAT Testing: Validate compliance of risk rules with global policies, tune when necessary, and conduct UAT testing prior to system enhancements.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years' experience in cryptocurrency-related Investigations, Sanctions, or Monitoring.
• Familiarity with crypto tools like Chainalysis, Elliptic, TRM, etc.
• Analytical thinker with extensive experience in compliance activities.
• Capability to handle multiple tasks in an unstructured environment, resolve ambiguity, and deliver structure and clarity.
• Proactive self-starter driven by initiative, dedication, and creativity to achieve goals efficiently.
• Strong communication skills, dedicated to providing value-added services and collaborating effectively with business partners.
• Ability to ask pertinent questions, exercise sound judgment, and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
