Description
Exchange Support team members are needed to join a renowned company's cryptocurrency trading business that operates around the clock. This team is dedicated to offering L2/L3 support to Business users and oversees the production environment for essential business lines. Responsibilities include User Management, Incident Management, Process Management, Operations Management, and Continuous Improvement efforts within the team.
Responsibilities:
- Providing technical support to Sales, Business Users, Institutional, and Retail customer base focusing on application support, API support, and network connectivity.
- Identifying and resolving production incidents, taking end-to-end ownership of issues, collaborating with technical and business teams, and escalating and resolving incidents promptly.
- Taking charge of all release activities, participating in audit reviews, and executing BCP exercises. Ensuring Process Management aligns with ITIL best practices, SLAs, and client expectations.
- Monitoring and automating application and infrastructure alerts to maintain system stability and uptime. Maintaining a knowledge repository and documentation of standard operating procedures.
- Identifying areas for improvement, optimizing processes, automating manual tasks, and enhancing the service levels for end-users.
Required Skills:
- 7 to 15 years of Production Support experience, preferably in Banking or Financial Services.
- Technical proficiency in UNIX commands, SQL, Bash/Python scripting, supporting FIX protocol and APIs.
- Strong understanding of Linux/Java systems, familiarity with Cloud Technology, and DevOps tools.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Control-M, ITRS Geneos, Dynatrace, or equivalent tools.
- Service-oriented with excellent incident handling and troubleshooting capabilities, preference for ITIL certification.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and interfacing teams.
- Experience in supporting Trading Systems (OMS/EMS) with exposure to Equities, Derivatives, FX, or Cryptocurrency Trading.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, with attention to detail and a results-driven focus.
- Self-driven and quick to grasp new concepts, business areas, and technologies.
- Open to shift work and weekend support.
