Roles and Responsibilities:
- Engage in data mining, cleansing, and preprocessing tasks to extract insights from extensive datasets.
- Develop and deploy statistical models and machine learning algorithms to address business challenges and streamline operations.
- Collaborate across teams to grasp business needs and pinpoint data-driven opportunities for improvement.
- Effectively communicate analysis results through reports, visual representations, and presentations to key stakeholders.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to reveal patterns, connections, and trends within the data.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in the fields of data science and analytics.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of practical experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages like SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
- Sound comprehension of statistical principles and methodologies.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, including handling large and complex datasets.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience collaborating within diverse and cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Mode, or Sigma Computing.
- Knowledge of cloud computing services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Exposure to big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Hive.
- Familiarity with data engineering tools such as Databricks, DBT, Fivetran, etc.
- Proficiency in database systems and SQL for data querying and manipulation.
