Senior Backend Engineer (Golang/Ruby on Rails) - User Onboarding and KYC

We are seeking a proactive individual to join our dynamic team dedicated to developing, enhancing, and maintaining software solutions for a range of innovative projects closely tied to our primary businesses. These ventures are rapidly initiated and undertaken with a streamlined team. As a key member, you will play an integral role in architecting scalable applications, encompassing both frontend user interface and backend infrastructure components.

Responsibilities

• Undertake development tasks spanning backend services, propose architectural strategies, contribute to design processes, conduct design reviews, write code, perform code reviews, and implement products that link developers with end-users.
• Enhance and extend our product offerings into new geographical regions, addressing aspects such as user onboarding, know your customer (KYC) procedures, enhanced due diligence (EDD), among others.
• Address complex issues within extensive backend infrastructure by identifying challenges and applying effective solutions.
• Ensure provision of reliable and responsive trading data streams for customers.
• Offer technical operational assistance to troubleshoot customer concerns.
• Take ownership of projects, promoting innovation through an openness to exploring new technologies and supporting experimentation.
• Engage closely with the DevOps and Infrastructure teams to enhance the technological stack for sustained engineering projects.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed code and functionalities.

Requirements

• Proficient in Ruby and Golang; familiarity with other programming languages is advantageous.
• Relevant project experience in areas such as user onboarding, KYC processes, EDD strategies, referrals, affiliate programs, banner services, rewards systems, etc.
• Enthusiastic about creating top-tier solutions to real-world problems, with a diverse technical background, self-driven attitude, quick learning ability, and a strong "get things done" approach.
• Willingness to accept superior ideas from colleagues, eager to drive improvements, open to challenges and potential opportunities.
• Possess solid organizational and interpersonal skills, alongside the ability to manage conflicting demands from various stakeholders effectively.
• Knowledge of the financial sector and/or blockchain technology is beneficial.
• Proficiency in Postgres, Redis, Kafka is preferred.
• Experienced in addressing scalability, security, and optimizing system performance.
