Senior Big Data Engineer

We are in the process of developing an innovative data platform equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and tools to facilitate data processing and analytics. In this role, you will utilize cutting-edge technologies to design, construct, enhance, and oversee data pipelines, warehouses, and lakes. Working closely with data scientists, analysts, and engineers, you will spearhead the delivery of creative data solutions to drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Formulate the technical strategy and roadmap for the evolution of data infrastructure.
• Architect, deploy, and manage reliable and efficient platforms for data processing and analytics.
• Improve model training and deployment workflows using MLOps/LLMOps practices.
• Take charge of data platform projects, overseeing them from inception to implementation.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Possess at least 5 years of experience in developing data infrastructure or building platforms.
• Proficient in big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Flink, Hive, and Kafka.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, and SQL.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and foster robust relationships between teams.
• Familiarity with DevOps and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on automation.
• Understanding of machine learning and data science workflows.
• Self-motivated, quick learner with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
