Role Overview
Working within the OKX brand creative studio, the Brand Designer will create exceptional design solutions for OKX's dynamic cryptocurrency exchange platform, an integral part of the OK Group. The role involves producing innovative, captivating, and impactful brand designs to meet diverse creative needs across all communication channels. Reporting to the Design Manager for OKX, the candidate will collaborate closely with the copy team and be accountable for delivering digital graphic designs, motion graphics, and effective communications for various platforms, including social media, the website, emails, events, and more.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of creative assets, overseeing projects from concept to production under the guidance of the creative director and Design Leads
- Lead key projects and deliver high-level design work
- Maintain design coherence and quality across different brand touchpoints and deliverables
- Collaborate effectively with global stakeholders from diverse functions
Creative Processes
- Enhance production workflows for efficiency
- Implement an Omni-channel strategy within the marketing team
- Contribute to defining and refining brand guidelines and asset specifications
Team Management
- Foster an environment of positivity and innovation within the team
- Provide support for team growth and mentorship
- Develop strong relationships with cross-functional teams
Skills, Requirements, & Experience
- 5+ years of design experience
- Ability to work across various creative fields, including branding, social media design, event design, and motion design
- Strong portfolio showcasing strategic thinking, conceptualization, and design skills
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Illustrator, and Photoshop (knowledge of After Effects is a plus)
- Effective problem-solving abilities with a focus on creativity
- Profound understanding of composition, typography, color theory, and imagery
- Capability to manage tight deadlines
- Passion for branding, animation, and design
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in video production or motion graphics
- Proficiency in 3D design
- Background in copywriting
- Knowledge of crypto or fintech industries
