Senior Corporate Secretary Officer, Singapore
The Legal team is responsible for providing legal and regulatory guidance to ensure compliance with local regulations and satisfy customer needs at CDC. The team engages with external regulators and service providers to protect CDC from legal risks, focusing on Commercial and Regulatory/Product areas.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Legal Team in executing company secretarial functions for global entities
- Collaborate with external professional firms
- Address internal clients' inquiries regarding corporate matters
- Aid in handling KYC requests from banks, vendors, and authorities
- Support internal and external audits in coordination with other teams
- Aid in arranging directors/shareholders' meetings
- Verify details in statutory and regulatory filings
- Assist in drafting meeting minutes and written resolutions
- Organize and file corporate documents for execution
- Maintain well-organized corporate records
- Conduct research and analyze corporate laws and statutory requirements
- Perform other assigned ad-hoc tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Corporate Governance, Law, or related fields
- 4 to 6 years of company secretarial experience
- Membership or enrollment in HKCGI, CSIS, MAICSA, ICSA, or ICPA is a plus
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Proficient in MS Office applications and computer literate
- Experience with entities management platforms and digital tools is advantageous
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks
- Ability to work independently
- Work location in Singapore or Hong Kong
