Description
At R3, there is an opportunity to join a team that is paving the way for moving trillions of dollars of assets onchain, connecting traditional finance (TradFi) and decentralized finance (DeFi). The focus is on launching a specialized Solana-native protocol to facilitate the integration of real-world assets into onchain capital markets, starting with incorporation into the existing Corda-based asset networks.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and guide the product roadmap for the Solana-native RWA DeFi offering, from conceptualization to implementation and ongoing enhancements
- Align product strategies with the needs of users and stakeholders such as onchain investors, DeFi partners, and RWA issuers
- Take ownership of product decisions and results, balancing long-term vision with day-to-day execution
- Collaborate with R3 Product and Engineering teams to actualize the roadmap, ensuring organizational alignment with your vision and plans
- Cultivate relationships with DeFi projects and protocols for integrations, partnerships, and liquidity pathways
- Simplify intricate asset structures and compliance requirements into easily manageable onchain components
- Represent R3 externally in the DeFi community, shaping discussions and gathering feedback
- Stay informed about regulatory changes and their implications on product development and market entry
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in DeFi, preferably demonstrating involvement in the design and launch or integration of a DeFi product
- Profound knowledge of DeFi strategies, mechanisms, and tokenomics
- Proficient in Solana with familiarity in its DeFi ecosystem, or a swift ability to get up to speed
- Experience with financial products like debt, equity, private credit, and collateral management is advantageous
- Understanding of the regulatory framework and compliance requirements for tokenized assets
- Demonstrated ability to foster partnerships and promote ecosystem cooperation
- Comfortable working in uncertain environments, making decisive judgments, and taking responsibility for outcomes
- Actively engaged in the crypto community, with a preference for established presence over casual participation
- Exceptional communication skills to engage with technical, business, and regulatory stakeholders effectively
- Approach challenges with an honest, adaptable, and collaborative mindset, emphasizing practical solutions over bureaucracy
