Responsibilities:
We are on the lookout for a skilled and hands-on Senior Developer in Backend/Search - CD+E. The ideal candidate should relish the challenge of overhauling outdated build pipelines and transitioning them into sophisticated, scalable, and automated frameworks.
As a senior developer, you will be tasked with managing and improving our search infrastructure, resolving technical issues, and crafting scalable search solutions for our video platform. Additionally, you will design, create, and sustain backend services, APIs, and stored procedures.
Mandatory Skills:
- A minimum of 5 years of backend development experience.
- At least 3 years of practical exposure to Apache Solr, encompassing schema design, query optimization, indexing strategies, data ingestion, and more.
- Proficiency in .NET/C# and SQL Server.
- Strong understanding of search algorithms, RESTful API development, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Well-versed in search algorithms, tokenization, and text analysis.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Lucene, or similar search engines.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, with a preference for AWS.
- Experience with microservices architecture and multi-language search functionalities.
