We are in search of a skilled DevOps Engineer with expertise in coding and automation to assist us in building and maintaining the essential tools, systems, and processes needed to ensure consistency and efficiency across all development teams at Genesis.
HOW YOU'LL PLAY YOUR PART
- Lead the design of solutions using cutting-edge automation technologies to align with our strategy and establish robust, scalable, user-friendly systems.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to gather requirements and promote best practices and principles of DevOps.
- Mentor junior team members and engage in collaborative projects.
- Contribute to managing a substantial AWS infrastructure that supports both our development environments and production systems for various clients.
- Enhance and streamline release engineering tools and procedures.
THE EXPERIENCE YOU WILL BRING
- Preferably hold a bachelor's degree.
- Extensive experience in modern cloud platforms like AWS or GCP (familiarity with data center equivalents is advantageous).
- Proficiency in Java / Kotlin languages and build systems, particularly Gradle.
- Demonstrated experience in constructing and overseeing Automation and CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions and Jenkins pipelines.
- Thorough understanding and practical knowledge of working with Docker and Docker orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
