We seek a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong AWS background, specializing in ECS, RDS, API Gateway, and Lambda functions. The ideal candidate should possess excellent problem-solving abilities, extensive AWS knowledge, and effective communication skills. You will report directly to our Product DevOps Team Lead, assisting in ensuring the smooth operation of our SaaS product by leveraging AWS expertise and collaborating with various teams to address issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for directly reporting to the Product DevOps Team Lead while conforming to team guidance.
  • Engage in debugging and resolving AWS-related issues with a focus on cost-effective resolutions.
  • Effectively communicate with project management to align DevOps activities with project objectives, including cost implications.
  • Solid grasp of DevOps principles and containerization techniques.
  • Possess an eagerness to learn, adapt, and actively enhance skill sets.
  • Promptly address incidents and optimize resource utilization for cost efficiency.
  • Enhance current AWS resource usage for efficient operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, specifically in AWS and ECS, emphasizing cost optimization.
  • Proficiency in AWS services like ECS, RDS, API Gateway, and Lambda functions, with a focus on troubleshooting and cost-effectiveness.
  • Experience in infrastructure as code (Terraform), CI/CD practices, and understanding cost implications.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams including project management and developers.

Preferred Skills

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and software development practices.
  • Knowledge of blockchain technologies, particularly RPC protocols, is advantageous.
