Responsibilities:
As a key member of the Policy team, you will spearhead risk analysis efforts to identify and address emerging threats in the eco-system affecting Circle and USDC's trust and safety. This pivotal role demands expertise in working with extensive data sets to spot real-world risks. You will strategize across various focus areas, liaise with internal risk partners, pinpoint gaps and innovative opportunities, and drive effective execution. Collaborative skills are essential for working across teams, and a problem-solving approach involving rigorous analysis and strategic thinking is crucial. Adapting to new product features to assess impact on existing policies and systems is also a key aspect of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth investigations into illicit activities like market manipulation, money laundering, and fraud to mitigate financial crime risks within policy parameters.
- Develop both quantitative and qualitative metrics to generate valuable insights from internal and external data sources.
- Utilize existing data to locate and analyze networks engaged in suspicious activities utilizing blockchain analytics tools.
- Collaborate across functions to devise strategies for unearthing new analytic insights and identifying potential threats.
- Offer leadership and technical expertise in performing complex analytics and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Support in designing dashboards for monitoring and tracking risk indicators.
- Engage in extensive blockchain analytics to serve strategic business, legal, and compliance objectives.
- Partner with external vendors and internal stakeholders to foster strong relationships and enhance controls.
What We Value:
- 10+ years of experience in investigative data analysis involving large networks with a knack for deriving strategic insights from quantitative data.

This opportunity offers day-one PERM sponsorship for qualified candidates. Compensation is determined based on various factors, including experience, qualifications, and organizational requirements. - Base Pay Range: $160,000 - $207,500
- Annual Bonus Target: 17.5%
- Benefits include Equity, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), discretionary vacation policy, 10 days paid sick leave/year, and 11 paid holidays in the U.S.
