Senior Front End Engineer - Consumer Services

The Consumer Services division plays a key role in providing a comprehensive range of Web3 services to Ledger users, enabling safe purchase, swapping, and selling of cryptocurrencies through Ledger Live. While Ledger is not an exchange platform, we collaborate with service providers to create an all-in-one crypto hub.

Responsibilities:

• Spearhead desktop and mobile development for Consumer Services from a technical perspective.
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA, designers, and product teams within Consumer Services.
• Drive seamless integration with partner teams for new enhancements.
• Contribute to code quality through code reviews and adherence to best practices.
• Uphold high standards of software quality within Consumer Services.
• Provide mentorship and foster technical growth within the front-end team.
• Take part in innovating and developing crypto services by introducing fresh ideas related to software quality, UI/UX, security, and blockchain technology.
• Share knowledge within the Ledger team and beyond.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in front-end software development.
• Strong coding skills with significant expertise in a JavaScript framework, preferably React, and proficiency in TypeScript.
• Competence in testing technologies like Jest, Playwright, and React Testing Library to ensure robust applications.
• Attention to detail in UI design to improve user flows and overall user experience.
• Experience with complex projects focusing on front-end stack performance and scalability while maintaining simplicity.
• Knowledge of modern development tools and methodologies including Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to tackle technical challenges creatively.
• Team player who values collaboration, learning, and knowledge sharing among peers.
