Description
The Trading Infrastructure team is working on developing a robust Trading Platform capable of multi-asset trading with high performance. This includes supporting financial instruments with low-latency execution, solid risk controls, and seamless integration throughout trading, risk, operations, and finance processes.
The platform is structured with a modular design incorporating key components like market data feeds, order gateways, risk engines, UI dashboards, middle office reconciliation, and account infrastructure. The emphasis is on event-driven, deterministic system design, real-time observability, and robust security measures.
The technology stack consists of Java (low-latency), Python, Web UI (React/Ag-Grid), Aeron, ClickHouse, Kubernetes, and contemporary CI/CD tools, with a strong focus on automation, scalability, and performance. Additionally, AI-assisted development tools are utilized to enhance team productivity and code quality.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance WebUIs for various trading functions such as order tickets, real-time blotters, position views, and time series charting.
- Develop advanced UI components using React.js, Next.js, and Ag-Grid, with a focus on modularity, performance, and responsiveness.
- Simplify intricate trading workflows, including options and multi-leg strategies, into user-friendly interfaces.
- Integrate frontend with real-time backend systems like AMPS, ViewServer, and custom messaging protocols.
- Contribute to microfrontend and microservices architectures in a scalable multi-team setup.
- Collaborate with backend teams specializing in Java, Python, and scripting tools for fullstack feature development and support.
- Leverage AI-assisted coding tools for efficient development processes and maintaining high-quality code.
- Participate in architectural reviews, code audits, and performance profiling aimed at ensuring a robust and sustainable codebase.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years experience in frontend or fullstack development, preferable within trading or financial systems.
- Proficiency in React.js, Next.js, and Ag-Grid, plus familiarity with modern state management libraries.
- Strong background in building UI for trading systems such as blotters, risk dashboards, and charting tools.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate frontend with real-time streaming backends and WebSocket/REST APIs.
- Sound understanding of the order lifecycle, market data, and trading of instruments like spot, futures, and options.
- Experience in backend development using Java, including API integration and collaboration with platform teams.
- Knowledge of microfrontend architecture and UI composition techniques.
- Familiarity with modern frontend tooling, code profiling, testing, and performance optimization.
