About the Role:

The Senior Human Resources Generalist will oversee HR administration while possessing comprehensive knowledge of HR compliance and office operations.

People Administration:

• Develop and manage performance evaluation tools.
• Propose local HR policies and ensure compliance with Japanese labor laws and regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality and process employee data for compensation, titles, and other changes.
• Facilitate onboarding, aid in benefits administration, and conduct exit interviews and offboarding.
• Manage employee paid time off and work on job descriptions, compensation, and career development with the Chief Talent Officer.
• Review and ensure the competitiveness of total rewards and benefits.
• Handle local talent immigration and mobility.

Benefits Administration:

• Assist employees with benefits enrollment, claims, and changes.

Compensation:

• Maintain accurate compensation records and collaborate with leadership on promotions and salary adjustments.

General People team duties:

• Handle immigration cases, ethics investigations, and exit interviews.
• Ensure a safe and clean workplace for employees.
• Collaborate with IT and facilities for new hires' office supplies and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Over 10 years of HR or People Operations experience.
• Proficient in current Japanese labor laws, compliance, and regulations.
• Prior experience in dynamic startup environments.
