Your Mission:
As an Information Security Specialist, you'll play a vital role in Bitpanda's InfoSec team, ensuring our security posture remains strong. Your responsibilities include planning and implementing compliance standards, enhancing IT governance, and participating in IT risk management. You'll also conduct regular cyber risk assessments to maintain an up-to-date understanding of our security risks.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and implement an Information Security Management System (ISMS).
- Conduct risk assessments and track incidents and vulnerabilities.
- Establish and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures.
- Provide insights into our security landscape and measure the effectiveness of our security efforts.
- Assist the business in conducting security gap analyses and creating security documentation for projects.
Who You Are:
- Holds a university degree in IT, Technology, Security, Business IT, or a related field.
- Proficient in both spoken and written German and English.
- Familiar with relevant standards and regulations such as ITIL, GDPR, ISO27001, BSI, NISG.
- Previous experience with AWS.
- Possesses certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, ITIL, or similar (an advantage).
- Has over 3 years of experience in security, governance, compliance, risk management, or related fields.
