Your Mission:
As a BPMS Developer, you will play a crucial role in conceptualizing and developing workflow solutions with BPMS (Business Process Management System) and other technologies such as RPA (Robotic Process Automation) and Cognitive Automation. Depending on the use case, you may utilize one or multiple technologies, but in any case, you will be instrumental in scaling Bitpanda. As part of the Operational Excellence team, you will have the opportunity to develop solutions for all areas within Bitpanda and will also have access to our own tech and design resources.
What You'll Do:
Conceptualize, develop, and deploy Appian solutions across internal applications.
Design BPMS workflows and collaborate with Operational Excellence Specialists to optimize internal processes.
Develop test automation and regression tests for the solutions.
Prepare solution documentation and ensure a smooth handover to the operations team post-Hypercare.
Collaborate closely with business analysts, UX designers, API developers, and testers to enhance user experience and system integration.
Who You Are:
You have a minimum of one year of experience in Appian development with an 'Associate Developer' certification and a track record of working with Records.
You possess expertise in conceptualizing processes and translating them into software applications or automations.

Your Mission:
As an Information Security Specialist, you'll play a vital role in Bitpanda's InfoSec team, ensuring our security posture remains strong. Your responsibilities include planning and implementing compliance standards, enhancing IT governance, and participating in IT risk management. You'll also conduct regular cyber risk assessments to maintain an up-to-date understanding of our security risks.
What You'll Do:
Develop and implement an Information Security Management System (ISMS).
Conduct risk assessments and track incidents and vulnerabilities.
Establish and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures.
Provide insights into our security landscape and measure the effectiveness of our security efforts.
Assist the business in conducting security gap analyses and creating security documentation for projects.
Who You Are:
Holds a university degree in IT, Technology, Security, Business IT, or a related field.
Proficient in both spoken and written German and English.

Your mission
As a QA Engineer you’ll directly be part of Bitpanda’s innovative platform solution and you’ll have hands-on access to a great diversity of technologies. We’re building the infrastructure for trading and payment services in state-of-the-art technologies, so you’ll directly work with a senior backend team. We’re looking for a smart and talented colleague who wants to take part in this fintech journey and can bring solid QA knowledge and experience.
About the team
The Payments Infrastructure team is part of Bitpanda’s Trade Hub solution. This team’s main focus is to provide users with a wide range of payment solutions from best-in-class payment providers and enable a smooth entry to Bitpanda’s trading experience for users from different countries using different currencies.
What you’ll do 
Help the team develop rich test ideas, scenarios and experiments that yield an in-depth coverage of systems under test (well above and beyond positive, negative and edge cases)
Be an integral part of the agile development workflow and an advocate for testing and code quality within the engineering teams you work with, from standups to sprint planning, to backlog refinement and long-term planning
Write and maintain test cases at all levels of our stack (server-side and front end)
Work with backend teams to ensure quality throughout the development life cycle overseeing build and deployment activities
Who you are 
3+ years of QA engineer experience, understanding QA processes and methodologies
Solid understanding of QA responsibilities within an agile software development team/deployment processes
Experience testing a variety of web services, APIs and data

Your mission
As the Principal Engineer, your goal will be to actively contribute to making Bitpanda’s platform scalable, performant, resilient and secure.
You will be a reference to the other members of the engineering team and proactively grow their technical skills within the company. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured architectural diagrams and technical documents
What we’re looking for
Ability to operate effectively and autonomously across multiple teams, and navigate technical ambiguity with only high-level direction.
You have experience in large scale adoption of reactive systems and are able to break down complex initiatives into smaller iterations that involve other engineering and product teams
You have advanced knowledge and experience with building reactive micro services leveraging event or message driven architecture for systems with high load.
You’re proficient with many of the following tools and technologies:
Apache Kafka, SQS, AWS Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, ElasticCache / Redis, Kubernetes and at least one of the following programming languages: Java/Go/Python/PHP

Your mission

Several years of experience with a track record in successful delivery of initiatives in the area of Front-end. Your mission
You, as a driven agile team member, will be working closely with the development teams to implement and support their continuous integration, in order to ensure stable and reliable releases of our platform. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining our container-based microservice infrastructure, to improve the availability and resilience of our services. With your motivation and knowledge in the latest cloud technologies, like Terraform and Kubernetes, you can create a scalable and solid architecture.
About the Team
The Platform area is responsible for developing and maintaining our internal APIs, services, infrastructure and security. The teams in the area support other Product teams by providing tools & services to enable the smoothest delivery possible of our Products. With a strong sense of ownership, you will ensure the timely and efficient delivery of high-quality code, a high level of performance and design whilst also developing innovative, compelling and cutting-edge systems that support our operations.
What you’ll do 
Development of our tools and improving systems and server setups to guarantee stability and security
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance our system and develop new features
Enhancement of our terraform codebase and infrastructure pipeline to support rapid feature delivery
Monitoring and upgrading our systems and server setups to guarantee stability and security
Mentor junior team members
Who you are 
Possess strong expertise in Cloud and AWS-based infrastructure (EC2, RDS, S3, SQS, etc.).
Have a minimum of 3 years of experience with Docker, Kubernetes/ECS, and Terraform.
Demonstrate proficiency in CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, Travis CI, Bitbucket Pipelines, or similar.
Showcase experience in building and maintaining real-time application monitoring and deep knowledge of troubleshooting hotspots.
Exhibit familiarity with languages like Bash, Python and Golang. Kafka knowledge is preferred.

Your mission
As a Product Manager for Bitpanda Technology Solutions your role will be to lead and shape our B2B product portfolio. You will be responsible for creating a cohesive product strategy for BTS and to lead the team towards its successful delivery. 
What you’ll do 
Own the product strategy and build a product roadmap together with other Product and Delivery Managers
Be the main point of contact for stakeholders from Sales, Operations, Compliance or other departments across the whole organization
Play a key role in strategic discussions and product decisions in the BTS
Manage cross-department and cross-solution initiatives to ensure the delivery of some of BTS’smost critical projects
Lead, grow, and inspire your team to perform at the highest level and successfully deliver their best output in a fast-paced environment
Who you are
5+ years of Product Management roles in a FinTech or Banking environment
Ability to lead teams effectively and provide guidance in ambiguous situations
Experience building solutions for B2B customers and managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
Experience in project management and proven communication skills, ideally working in a fast-paced/start-up environment
Strong analytical thinking, leveraging both quantitative and qualitative data to drive decisions
