Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue institutional sales opportunities, building a strong pipeline by reaching out to prospective institutional clients in the APAC region
- Develop client profiles, identifying successful cases to replicate and highlighting areas for marketing efforts
- Evaluate and pursue new revenue streams with existing or new clients, including asset managers, hedge funds, venture capital firms, endowments, private equity firms, private wealth managers, and sovereign wealth funds
- Close high-revenue sales opportunities, focusing on deals related to cash OTC, derivatives, custody, lending, VIP loans, and staking
- Ensure that prospective clients meet the necessary criteria and do not pose any risks to the business, such as financial reputation or regulatory compliance
- Prepare proposals and presentations for prospective clients
- Negotiate contractual and commercial terms with legal teams
- Conduct initial due diligence on prospects as required
- Communicate client feedback and service/product gaps to senior management and product teams, suggesting proposals for improvement
- Serve as a brand ambassador and primary point of contact for institutional clients in the region
- Collaborate with marketing teams to successfully execute sales campaigns in Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, and India
Requirements
- Passion and enthusiasm for cryptocurrency products, particularly our key offerings
- Proven track record in sales, with a focus on building pipelines, developing opportunities, and closing deals
- Ability to negotiate contractual and commercial terms, working closely with legal teams to protect OKX's interests
- In-depth knowledge of the institutional crypto landscape in the relevant country
- Strong connections within the local institutional crypto community
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Extensive knowledge of institutional products offered by OKX, such as block trading, derivatives (perpetuals, futures, options, margin), and cash OTC
- Awareness of the ever-changing regulatory environment in the crypto industry and its impact on OKX's business
- Strong planning and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage sales in an organized and structured manner
- Self-motivated, team player, independent, detail-oriented, organized, and skilled problem solver
